339/365: rushing the bus

Salam, I didn't wear my jacket hahahaha

12/12/10: In the morning

We still having Jet-lag and hence we woke up pretty damn late. We need to catch our tour bus that dad pay for sight-seeing. The Auckland Bus explorer stop at 9 attractive place with another interceptor bus that operate in summer time.

We use the Civic Theatre Corner stop to catch the bus, then the bus took us to sky City and Sky Tower, which we didn't hop off. Then we pass the American Cup Viaduct and we hop off at Bastion Point where we go down the hill of WWII remains, there we walked along Tamaki Drive from Mission Bay beach. It's along walk until we reach the bus stop. I get to see the active volcano across the sea, my camera's  battery screw-up =_=

There is also food vendor that sells very cheap fruit compare to the Britomart Sunday market. After 30 mins of walking we finally arrive to the bus stop for another stop at Auckland Museum to get the Satellite bus, while waiting we went inside the museum, which quite an odd for me as I rarely thought to enter a foreign museum whenever we went overseas. The museum is damn large even an hour is not enough, I enjoy every bit of it. We also tried out Volcano simulator where we kindda experience the tremor and the creation of volcano over the sea. It was really cool experience compare to earthquake simulator in OGDC. The warning of leaving the visitor distress quite true indeed. I wish we could spend in Volcano museum longer.

We hop on to the satellite bus and we skip the Garden because we chasing time for St Lukes Westfield Shopping Centre, there the driver told us we only got an hour before the last bus arrive, so me and dad shop at this shop to buy souvenirs and we literally shop till we drop because as we ran to the bus stop, my dad realised that he drop his sunglasses somewhere in that shop.

Then we finally back to Queen's street where we buy more souvenirs and dinner till the shop close at 4pm.

since it was Saturday night, the street fill with street performance and some crack-up youngster for some party or something. I even saw a guy wearing a fake wing and there is also thugs along the street. Then we went back to our hotel to complete the three M ---> "Makan, Mian, Madan" (eat, stuffed, faint)
